1. Introduction

At Fitnexia, the security and privacy of our users' personal data is our highest priority. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data is processed while using the Fitnexia mobile application, how it is protected, and the rights you hold under applicable data protection legislation.

By continuing to use the application, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this policy.

2. Personal Data We Process

Fitnexia processes only the data strictly necessary to deliver its services:

• Identity: Name, username
• Contact: Email address
• Physical & Health: Age, height, weight, fitness goal, activity level
• Activity Data: Workout history, calorie & water tracking, streak count
• Membership: Subscription plan (Free / Basic / Premium)
• Motion Data: Daily step count read from your device's step sensor. It is kept as a daily total only; your location is never read.
• Meal Photos: Photos you take for calorie analysis. A photo is sent to the AI infrastructure to be analysed; it is not stored on our servers, only the result (dish name and nutrition values) is saved.
• Google Sign-In: If you choose this path, only your name and email address are received from Google.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your personal data is stored in encrypted form on our secure infrastructure. On the device side, the operating system's native secure storage mechanisms are used (iOS Keychain / Android encrypted SharedPreferences).

Your data is protected against unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure through industry-standard security measures.

4. Camera and Photos

Camera access is requested for two purposes only: photographing your meal to estimate its calories, and reading product barcodes. Barcode reading happens entirely on your device — no image leaves it.

Photo library access lets you pick an existing photo and change your profile picture. Your profile picture never leaves your device.

5. Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure

Fitnexia's AI Coach feature is built on a large language model-based AI infrastructure. Conversation content is transmitted to this infrastructure for the purpose of generating responses.

Physical profile data is used exclusively to generate personalized responses and is never shared with third parties under any circumstances.

If you find an AI-generated response wrong or offensive, you can report it from inside the app; reported content is sent to us for review.

6. How We Use Your Data

• Delivering personalized workout programs and nutrition recommendations
• Enabling user-specific progress tracking
• Sending workout reminders and weekly report notifications
• Managing subscription plans and access rights
• Improving application performance and user experience

7. Notification Permissions

Fitnexia requests your explicit consent to send workout reminders and weekly progress report notifications. You may revoke notification permissions at any time from your device's system settings.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Be informed whether your personal data is being processed
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion or destruction of your data
• Object to the processing of your data
• Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

9. Children's Privacy

Fitnexia is not designed for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from this age group.

10. Policy Updates

Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated in advance via in-app notification or your registered email address.

11. Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account from inside the app at any time: Settings → Delete Account. Deletion cannot be undone; all of your data is removed from the server, including workout history, plans, measurements and streak.
